NIST aims to increase public involvement in privacy-engineering work

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is increasing its outreach to stakeholders on the development of new privacy-engineering concepts and might yet take the whole dialogue to a broader public – a move that could stimulate vital discussion and mirror the process used to shape the federal framework of cybersecurity standards.
