BSA outlines vision for five-step plan to create unified cybersecurity requirements

The Business Software Alliance is offering a five-step plan for the Office of Management and Budget to create unified cybersecurity requirements for use by regulatory agencies, in a position paper advocating for cyber regulatory harmonization.

“The path to better cybersecurity is harmonization. Instead of each regulator drafting its own rules, we need a single, coordinated set of requirements that agencies can draw from, but not alter,” BSA says in the Nov. 17 BSA position paper.
