Senate passes fiscal 2026 NDAA without reauthorization of major info-sharing law

Prospects for a long-term reauthorization of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 took another hit on Oct. 9, with the passage of the Senate version of the fiscal 2026 National Defense Authorization Act without the addition of the now-lapsed cyber law as an amendment.
