Trump executive order renews efforts under national security advisory committee run by DHS

An influential national security advisory committee will continue operating through Sept. 30, 2027, according to a recent executive order extending the operations of several groups that fall under the Federal Advisory Committee Act.

The National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee was created in 1982 and played a significant role in shaping the Biden administration’s cyber policy efforts.
