National security think tank advocates for legislation to support research on AI-enabled cyber capabilities

The Center for a New American Security is pushing for legislation in a new report to formally authorize and fund the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Center for AI Standards and Innovation, as part of a multi-faceted plan to strengthen defenses to prepare for AI cyber-enabled offense.
