NIST finalizes guidance on algorithm class used in post-quantum cryptography for sharing confidential information

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has finalized a publication breaking down a class of post-quantum cryptography algorithms designed to securely share confidential information between two parties known as “key-encapsulation mechanism,” or a KEM.
