CISA nominee Plankey backs reauthorizing info-sharing law amid questions over censorship

Sean Plankey, President Trump’s nominee to lead the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, emphasized the importance at a July 24 confirmation hearing of reauthorizing a critical info-sharing law set to expire on Sept. 30, while facing questions over censorship and the role of the agency.
