The Week Ahead: House examines security threats from China as Senate grills nominees

The House sets its sights this week on national security threats from China including cyber crime, while the Senate examines nominees to fill key offices with tech responsibilities and the Federal Communications Commission holds its first meeting under Chairman Brendan Carr.

The House Financial Services Committee meets Tuesday to hear from witnesses on ways to counter China “across a range of policy issues,” according to a memo on the hearing.
