Senate Homeland Security sets confirmation hearings for DHS secretary, OMB director nominees

The Senate Homeland Security Committee will hold two confirmation hearings on Jan. 15 with a morning session featuring Homeland Security Secretary nominee Kristi Noem, and President-elect Trump’s pick for Office of Management and Budget director, Russell Vought, in the afternoon.

Noem is currently the governor of South Dakota and will play an important role in shaping the work of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency if confirmed by the full Senate.
