FCC seeks feedback on national security concerns stemming from Internet of Things cyber labeling program

The Federal Communications Commission is asking for input on addressing national security concerns that could emerge in the agency’s upcoming cyber labeling program for Internet of Things products and “hidden vulnerabilities” from high-risk countries.

The commission voted to establish the labeling program on March 14 through a report and order, while also issuing a further notice of proposed rulemaking on concerns over high-risk countries.
