FERC shares lessons learned from bulk power reliability standard audits on incident reporting, supply chain
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has released a report detailing lessons learned on how bulk power electric system operators can improve their cybersecurity compliance with reliability standards mandated by the agency.
The report identifies four areas of “potential noncompliance” in fiscal 2023 with the critical infrastructure protection reliability standards and the “security risks that remain,” according to a Tuesday release from FERC. The report offers mitigation actions to address the risks.
