Telecom group aims to address industrial Internet of Things devices with updated supply chain standard

The Telecommunications Industry Association is addressing use cases for industrial internet of Things devices in its recently updated standard for supply chain security, according to TIA vice president of business performance Mike Regan.

Regan said TIA is looking to introduce the “widely applicable” updated standard to “new verticals” where the trade association has not historically focused, starting with Internet of Things devices.
