FAR Council approves 60-day extension to allow more time for comments on 2021 cyber executive order rules

The Defense Department, the General Services Administration and NASA have granted a request from industry groups to extend the deadline for comments on two proposed cyber rules that would make changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

The two rules concern different aspects of the 2021 cyber executive order. The public comment period for both rules now concludes on Feb. 2.
