Regulatory harmonization RFI asks for input on reciprocity, role of cloud service providers

Developing a reciprocity framework for federal cyber regulation is the goal of a new request for information issued on Wednesday by the Office of the National Cyber Director.

The RFI is designed to address an objective in the national cyber strategy to establish baseline cybersecurity requirements. The implementation plan released on July 13 makes ONCD the lead agency to coordinate the government’s efforts on cyber regulatory harmonization.
