Moody’s: Financial, technical help from U.S. will boost Costa Rica’s cybersecurity

Costa Rica’s cyber resilience will likely be improved by assistance from the United States and other countries following a series of ransomware attacks, according to Moody’s Investors Service.

Moody’s, in response to a March 29 announcement that the Biden administration will provide $25 million to Costa Rica for cybersecurity measures, says the assistance will help the country establish a safer national cyber framework and address technological vulnerabilities.
