Telecom advisory panel to offer proposal on creation of cyber harmonization office at CISA

The National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee will consider and vote on a capstone strategy on Feb. 21 that offers recommendations on harmonizing federal cyber requirements for the ICT sector, including a new office within CISA and policy guidance for agencies.

“CISA should establish an office, the Office of Cybersecurity Regulatory Harmonization (OCRH), with the primary mission of advancing the harmonization of cybersecurity requirements,” the NSTAC says in a draft of the strategy report published Friday.
