House appropriators offer $2.9 billion to fund CISA operations for upcoming budget cycle

House lawmakers will consider a fiscal 2023 funding measure today providing a $417.1 million increase for CISA above the White House’s request, demonstrating a commitment from appropriators to prioritize defending critical infrastructure against cyber threats through the civilian agency focused on joint collaboration with the private sector.
