House panel examines CISA approach for addressing ‘systemically important critical infrastructure’

CISA cyber head Eric Goldstein outlined his agency’s effort to identify “systemically important entities” at a House Homeland hearing today, saying the initiative is meant to address a Cyberspace Solarium Commission proposal supported by key lawmakers on designating critical infrastructure entities where a cyber attack would pose a significant disruption to U.S. national security.
