Semiconductor companies urge FCC to invest in open RAN to expand innovation

Qualcomm and GlobalFoundaries want the Federal Communications Commission to help chipmakers and members of the telecom industry enhance their capacity to embrace open Radio Access Networks and promote open interfaces.
