Consulting services emerge to help contractors meet CMMC requirements ahead of certification launch

Firms experienced in working with current Defense Department acquisition standards are developing new initiatives to guide contractors through the launch of the Pentagon’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program, while work continues on standards for third-party assessors through the CMMC Accreditation Body.

Cyber defense company Celerium has developed the “CMMC Academy” to help contractors understand the CMMC requirements developed by Defense Department’s acquisition office in collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, standards organizations, and defense companies.
