Pentagon seeks approval from federal court to reconsider parts of JEDI cloud decision

The Pentagon is seeking a federal judge's permission to reconsider technical aspects of its decision to award the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure cloud computing contract to Microsoft last year.

In a filing submitted Thursday, Defense Department lawyers ask to "remand" Amazon's protest lawsuit in the Court of Federal Claims for up to 120 days "to reconsider certain aspects of the challenged agency decision" to award the potential 10-year, $10 billion contract to Microsoft.
