UK cyber leader argues for secure by design adoption as DHS weighs next steps

SAN FRANCISCO. Anne Keast-Butler, director of the United Kingdom’s major cyber agency, made an argument to continue government work on secure by design and addressed regulatory harmonization, in a fireside chat with former National Cyber Director Chris Inglis here at the RSA conference.

Companies are interested working together, to improve design and ensuring things learned from “working with national security communities” are incorporated into their products, Keast-Butler said in the April 30 session.
