Trump selects Purdue engineering dean Raman to serve as next NIST director

President Trump has nominated Arvind Raman, dean of Purdue University’s College of Engineering, to serve as the next director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, filling a key role in carrying out the administration’s cybersecurity and artificial intelligence agenda.
