Trump modifies artificial intelligence taskings for agencies under cyber EO

President Trump is cutting some of the directives to agencies for supporting the security of artificial intelligence, as part a major cyber executive order making changes to Biden-era mandates.

“Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to transform cyber defense by rapidly identifying vulnerabilities, increasing the scale of threat detection techniques, and automating cyber defense,” Trump’s June 6 cyber executive order says.
