Trellix report finds advanced persistent threat actors targeting tech sector

Advanced persistent threat actors are focused on targeting the U.S. technology sector, according to a report from cyber firm Trellix reviewing findings from a report detailing global cyber threat trends.

“Technology, as the most impacted sector, indicates systematic targeting of American technology companies and intellectual property,” the report says, based on findings from the past six months from the cyber firm’s security solutions and open source tools.
