Tech sector questions scope of Commerce foreign transaction review rulemaking, potential for third party audits

The Information Technology Industry Council is concerned about the scope of a proposed rulemaking that would add new criteria into a controversial Commerce Department interim final rule to review and make prohibition or mitigation decisions about foreign transactions in the telecom and IT sectors.
