Space Force official calls public-private partnerships necessary for supply chain security

The U.S. Space Force is looking enhance its supply chain security efforts by growing public-private partnerships, according to cyber official Col. Erica Mitchell.

“We rely heavily on the commercial sector,” Mitchell said on a Thursday panel at the Billington Cybersecurity Summit. “We want to grow that partnership, and the more security that is built into those commercial offerings, the more appealing they are to us.”
