Solarium commission backs cyber certification as Pentagon pushes forward on new rules

The Cyberspace Solarium Commission has embraced widespread use of certification as an effective cybersecurity tool, in offering a strategy for developing new products and technologies such as 5G networks, while citing the Pentagon's emerging contractor certification requirements and upcoming rules as a model for broader government reforms.
