Senior White House official: IT modernization report coming ‘soon,’ will focus on shared services

A White House report on government information technology modernization will be released soon and will detail steps to create “shared services” for cybersecurity across the federal government, according to Grant Schneider, acting federal chief information security officer and senior director for cybersecurity at the National Security Council.
