Senate passes Wyden bill requiring CISA to release 2022 telecom security report

The Senate has passed a bill on unanimous consent to require the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to release an “unclassified” 2022 report on telecom security, according to bill sponsor Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR).

Wyden introduced the Telecom Cybersecurity Transparency Act last week. He spoke on the floor about the report in a July 28 speech before the bill was passed.
