Senate Commerce Committee approves key FCC nominees

The Senate Commerce Committee today approved extending the term of Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai and reinstalling Jessica Rosenworcel as an FCC commissioner, among a number of other Trump administration nominees.

The committee also approved under a bipartisan agreement a number of bills, including legislation to extend federal scholarships to grow the nation's cybersecurity workforce.
