Sen. Paul announces plans to become chair of Senate Homeland Security panel in 119th Congress

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) intends to take the chairmanship of the Senate Homeland Security Committee in the next Congress, according to a Nov. 14 announcement, setting up a potentially contentious environment for the future of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency which he has frequently criticized.
