Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) is taking the lead on a supply chain security bill with Senate Homeland Security ranking member Gary Peters (D-MI) to require the Defense Department to purchase information technology products directly from original equipment manufacturers and authorized sellers in response to recent cyber attacks.
