Rosenworcel proposes FCC cyber requirements for communications service providers in response to Salt Typhoon threat

FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has proposed a set of actions for the commission to take in response to the Salt Typhoon threat, including a declaratory ruling ordering telecom carriers to secure their networks and a new rulemaking to require cyber risk management plans from providers.
