Rep. Langevin highlights need for ‘SBOMs’ amid CISA’s work on Log4j vulnerability response

CISA officially kicked off its Software Bill of Materials initiative Wednesday with a call from Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI), a leading voice on Capitol Hill for cyber policy, to embrace the use of a Software Bill of Materials as part of an effort to increase transparency following the discovery of the Log4j vulnerability.
