Radio access network advocacy group wants broad definitions for FCC-approved alternatives to Huawei, ZTE

A new advocacy organization composed of major telecom and software providers and vendors is asking the Federal Communication Commission to avoid listing “precise names of any equipment and services” as the agency works to reconcile a legislatively funded rip-and-replace program with an ongoing FCC effort to remove Huawei and ZTE equipment from U.S. systems.
