Proposed FCC Internet of Things labeling program clashes with industry requests on self-attestation, liability protections

The Federal Communications Commission’s draft report and order to establish an Internet of Things cyber labeling program could raise some concerns among industry stakeholders, who recently asked the regulatory agency to allow self-attestation and create liability protections for devices that bear the new Cyber Trust Mark.
