Pentagon issues memorandum placing CMMC program under direct oversight of DOD CIO Sherman

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program is moving from the acquisition arm of the Pentagon to direct oversight by Defense Department Chief Information Officer John Sherman, under a Pentagon memorandum obtained by Inside Cybersecurity.
