Outlook for 2022 includes cyber EO deadlines, Commerce’s supply chain review, revamped CMMC at Pentagon

Several agencies face deadlines in the new year under a major cybersecurity executive order, while the Commerce Department is tasked with completing a review of supply chain challenges in the ICT sector and the Pentagon implements major changes to its cyber certification program.

The clock runs out on May 12 for several deliverables from President Biden’s 2021 cyber executive order to secure government networks and establish a structure for incident reporting and response at the federal level.
