Outgoing training leader of CMMC accreditation body reflects on work to stand up certification ecosystem

Training committee chair Ben Tchoubineh this week departs the accreditation body responsible for establishing an assessment ecosystem for the Pentagon’s cyber certification program, and says he’s leaving behind a solid foundation for the training of assessors and the preparation of future instructors.

DOD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program has relied on the CMMC Accreditation Body to approve assessors, assessment organizations and to establish a program that will expand the training of assessors to educational institutions.
