OMB seeks comments on draft memorandum for revamping FedRAMP program

The Office of Management and Budget has issued a draft memorandum for public comment proposing changes to the General Services Administration’s Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, which puts a spotlight on ensuring the government is using secure cloud products and services.

The memo was issued today in response to the FedRAMP Authorization Act from the fiscal 2023 National Defense Authorization Act. OMB is accepting comments through Nov. 27.
