OMB launches progress report to provide public-facing data on agency compliance with FISMA requirements

The Office of Management and Budget has launched a progress report providing the public with details on agency compliance with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act, using the five functions in the NIST cybersecurity framework.

“The progress report scores agencies on leading practices across five categories: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover,” Federal CISO Chris DeRusha said in a Wednesday blog post.
