NSA concludes zero trust series with guidance on maturing automation, orchestration of security capabilities

The National Security Agency has issued guidance on the seventh and final pillar of the Defense Department’s zero trust architecture with a focus on steps to mature automation and orchestration of security controls.

“From the outset of this project, we’ve acknowledged and appreciated the value of implementing a Zero Trust framework for providing the best defense against data compromise,” NSA cybersecurity director Dave Luber said in a Wednesday press release.
