NIST shares initial takeaways from 5G cybersecurity implementation project in draft executive summary

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released a draft executive summary for public comment of a practice guide detailing work on a project to enhance cybersecurity protections for fifth-generation networks.

“As the first volume of the practice guide, this document summarizes the most significant cybersecurity and privacy recommendations identified thus far from our research on this project,” NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence says in a March 18 announcement.
