NIST seeks input on post-quantum encryption project drafts detailing tests for cryptographic discovery, interoperability

NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence has released two draft volumes in its project on migration to post-quantum cryptography, focused on preparing for the transition to quantum-safe encryption by creating cryptographic inventories and testing approved algorithms for interoperability and performance.

The practice guide is being developed to provide “a practical demonstration of technology and tools that can assist organizations to develop a migration plan, sometimes called a quantum readiness roadmap,” according to NIST.
