NIST seeks input on final draft of zero trust implementation project guidance developed with industry

NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence has issued for public comment the final draft of a practice guide from its zero trust architecture implementation project, combining five volumes of previous drafts based on extensive work with industry partners to test out a range of potential network configurations.

“This publication outlines results and best practices from the NCCoE effort working with 24 vendors to demonstrate end-to-end zero trust architectures,” NIST says in a Wednesday announcement.
