NIST seeks input on draft guide for secure integration of cloud applications

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released a draft guide for public comment focused on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities when integrating applications in enterprise cloud environments, including applying zero trust principles.

“Modern enterprise IT systems rely on a family of application programming interfaces (APIs) for integration to support organizational business processes. Hence, a secure development and deployment of APIs is critical for overall enterprise security,” NIST says in a March 25 bulletin.
