NIST releases revised framework for comment, which includes use of 'metrics'

The National Institute of Standards and Technology today released draft revisions to its landmark voluntary framework of cybersecurity standards, which includes first-time use of “metrics” to measure business results.

The revised framework, referred to as “draft version 1.1,” was released for public comments by April 10. NIST plans to hold a public workshop after the comment period, according to an official.
