NIST prepares zero-trust demonstration project for next year

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is developing a demonstration project on how to develop a zero-trust network to be conducted with industry at NIST's cybersecurity center in 2020.

NIST will be publishing a “project description” for zero-trust demonstration in the Federal Register within a couple of months, Alper Kerman, of the NIST Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, told an agency advisory committee on Dec. 5.
