NIST finalizes cyber workforce framework update to include guidance on operational technology roles

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is incorporating workforce needs for operational technology cybersecurity, as part of a companion resource to the agency's widely used NICE workforce framework.

"The NICE Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) establishes a standard approach and common language for describing cybersecurity work and learner capabilities," according to a March 10 announcement from NIST.
